Don't be left lantern-less! Artists from the Secret Lantern Society will work with your neighbourhood to prepare for your celebration. Participants are encouraged to return with their lanterns, friends, and families to add their special light to the night of the Winter Solstice, December 21.

Chinatown

Get involved before the festival and work with local artist Sharon Kallis to create a gorgeous leaf tapestry made of natural materials collected from the winter landscape. No artistic experience necessary. The leaf tapestry will be on view as a part of the Winter Solstice Lantern Festival, Friday December 21st.
